My Encounter with the Cowairy
Today while I was walking on my planet, looking at the cone-shaped trees in the park and walking home, I saw a shower of glitter and the famous Cowairy appeared. She had a big, blue headband, long brown hair, with blue and purple wings, a light green t-shirt and a cow shaped body with only two legs. The glitter sparkled brightly around her and her red love heart earring sparkled brightly. It was the first time I saw her so it was an amazing sight. She was more beautiful than it was said in stories. Was I dreaming? I pinched myself and found that I wasn’t in a dream. She sang in her lovely high-pitched voice. She suddenly disappeared in another shower of glitter. Was I just imagining what I just saw? I decided that I saw just imagining what I just saw. But what an amazing sight!
Maths Probability Semester 1
At school we have been working on some maths that is our weakest points. I chose probability as my weakest point to explain to our class. My question or problem will teach the audience a way to figure out my question and it will also help them understand probability more. It is also a way to tell which fraction is smallest and biggest. I’ll know if my class understands if they aren’t talking, scrunching up their faces or looking confused. My question is: Which one has the smallest chance of happening?
a) It is my friend’s birthday but it isn’t a leap year.
b) I will make a friend today.
c) I will pick 2 rotten eggs out of 500.
d) Picking a club six out of a pack of cards including the jokers. Steps
1) Change them all into fractions.
2) Simplify the ones that you can.
3) Look at the denominators and see which one is the biggest. That is your answer!
