My Colour Poem
My colour is bright,
My colour is a storm,
My colour sounds like thunder.
My colour is flamboyant,
My colour is bright and confident,
My colour is cheeky,
My colour stands out,
My colours are dark purple and yellow.
My character is Wario.
Bid Red Lump
This term, we have been studying bodies. We are going to play ‘Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games’ for an experiment to see how fast our heart beats before we do exercise and how fast it beats after we do exercise. We also do some writing about it. Here is a newspaper article.
RED ALERT!!!
Yesterday while competing with Wario in the hammer-throw, Vector spun dizzily and smacked into the net and the hammer fell onto his foot. He tried to get up but the hammer was too heavy and he fell to the ground.
Toad, the referee, said it was a foul.
Wario jumped up and down happily.
Toad says: He had the biggest lump on his head and a very big swollen toe.
Story of Six Words
You think telling a story with six words is easy? Here is some I come up with for this picture:
- Your personal best, running for gold.
- Disappointed, wanting to run to victory
- Jumping and rolling and leaping to victory.
- Determination burns within the hopeful athlete.
- Bang! Off they run. Load cheers.
- Trying your best, representing your team
- On the sidelines, screaming heads off!
Do you have any one you want to add?
Get Smart
Buckle up and get ready for a whole new adventure in the Agent World!
Max has recently become Agent 85. He has to go to Russia with his partner Agent 99 to destroy the bombs which were made by the evil people. They tried selling it to the president but he didn’t believe them so the evil people want to prove to the president by putting a bomb in the concert with the president present. On the way to Russia, Max accidentally fell out of the plane without putting on a parachute. Agent 99 then has to put on her parachute and save Max….
Then a really big guy goes after them and cuts there parachute and grabs them so that when they reach the ground they would die….
What do you think will happen?
Glitter Your Way
THANK YOU MOMTI!!!
The idea of the Glitter Your Way on my blog. Beware though, a lot of people will be putting this on their blogs.

Here is mine:

Held In Suspense
When, oh, when are we going to get our results for the Selective Test? Everyday, when I walk home from school, I check my mail box to see if the results have been received. It is exactly the same as when you are watching a movie and they hold you in suspense…… except this is more important.
For those who don’t know what the “Selective Test” is, it is a test where you have to do a test on English, Maths, General Ability and Writing. This test is for anyone who wants to make it into a Selective High school. When we filled in the form, we had to write down four choices of all the Selective Schools. My choices where, Sydney Girls, St George Girls, Carringbah and Tempe.
I heard on the radio, that they would have the results by the 20th of June but we still haven’t received it yet.
If I had the “big yellow package” right now, I would be shaking with fear and excitement. Everyday when I go to school, I ask my other year six friends if they have received them yet.
What would you do if you made it? If I made it, I would be jumping around yelling my head off! I will be sure to write a post when I receive “it”. AUUGGGHHHH!!!

Why the Jellyfish has no bones
A long time ago, before humans were born, there once were jellyfishes that had bones, unlike today. The jellyfish was floating around the ocean trying to find someone to play with as it was bored out of its wits.
After searching for a long time it found a baby hammerhead. Playing around the underwater cave was dangerous and they both knew it but as the saying goes, forbidden sweets taste the sweetest. After exploring the cave they tried to get out, but the entrance was blocked by the father hammerhead.
The father hammerhead chased the jellyfish until they came to a dead end. The jellyfish looked guiltily at the hammerhead even though he didn’t do anything wrong. Without hesitation the hammerhead smashed into the jellyfish breaking all its bones. Suddenly the baby hammerhead started to cry.
“Stop, daddy!” It said.
The dad turned around, “What?” he asked.
“Dad, we were just playing! He didn’t hurt me!”
This is why the jellyfish has no bones.
