Samorost help’s our writing
Our class S2/3P has played a game named “Samorost” and wrote about it to try to improve our writing. We write about it to try to improve our descriptive writing. We are writing descriptive writing because it is nearly the Basic Skills Test. We would all like to become better.We used the 6 thinking hats to help with our ideas. Here is what the hat’s mean for:
Blue hat: Thinking about thinking
Black hat: Negative thoughts
Yellow hat: Positive thoughts
Red hat: Feelings and emotions
White hat: Info and facts

A Letter to Home
August 21st, 1915
Dear Family,
It is the middle of the war and I no longer want to be in the war. It is really scary. There is a man with a donkey who risks his own life for others. We call him the bravest of the brave. It is real hard work fighting and dodging. We have to build shelter for us to hide and live in. Sometimes it is very noisy at night. Many of us have died.
Say hi to dad, mum and Casey for me. Tell them about a man who risked his own life for others and eventually died by a shot in the heart. We don’t have to fight all the time because we have breaks or rests. I have been wounded more than once but don’t worry my wounds are already healed. I managed to kill a few Turks.
